Terms
What this means
1. The service

Inbox Filter is an automated email filtering service that connects to your Gmail or Outlook account, scores incoming emails using Anthropic's Claude API, and applies labels and optionally moves messages within your inbox.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that filtering decisions will be accurate in all cases.

We filter your email automatically using AI. We do our best but the filter makes mistakes — it may occasionally flag a legitimate email or miss something it shouldn't. That's the nature of the product and we're upfront about it.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Inbox Filter. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. One account per person.

By connecting your email account, you grant us a limited, revocable authorisation to access your inbox solely for the purpose of filtering. You can revoke this at any time from your Settings page or directly from your Google or Microsoft account settings.

You need to be 18 or over. Keep your login secure.

Connecting Gmail or Outlook gives us access to filter your email. You can disconnect any time from Settings and we lose access immediately.

3. Payments and cancellation

Inbox Filter is billed at $5.00 USD per month via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time via the Billing section of your dashboard, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing period.

All payments are non-refundable. We do not issue refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or any other reason. If you cancel mid-period, you retain access until the period ends.

$5 a month, billed automatically. Cancel any time from your dashboard and you keep access until the period you've paid for ends.

We don't issue refunds. If you cancel halfway through a month, that month is paid for and you get it — we just won't charge you again.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Inbox Filter to violate any applicable law, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, interfere with the service, reverse engineer the software, or use the service on behalf of another person without their explicit consent.

Use it for filtering your own email. Don't try to break it, copy it, or use it on someone else's account without their permission.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inbox Filter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to missed or incorrectly filtered emails.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

If the filter misses something important, that's on you to catch — check your filtered folders periodically and use the Evaluate tool to review accuracy.

If something does go wrong on our side, the most we'd owe you is what you paid us in the previous three months.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our database within 30 days.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before doing so.

Delete your account from Settings whenever you want — your data is gone within 30 days.

We can close accounts that break these terms. We'll try to let you know first.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

If there's ever a legal dispute, it gets handled under Florida law in Florida courts.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If something important changes, we'll email you a week before it kicks in. Continuing to use the service after that means you're okay with the changes.
